  1. The following DOS commands can be issued with the DEMO disk:

  3. READ-ME         Gives an introduction to using the demo disk.
  4.  
  5. DEMO         Starts the in-depth demo / tutorial.
  6.  
  7. HELP         Demonstrates a simple on-line help system for DOS commands.
  8.          It displays this file.  It demonstrates how VEDIT PLUS can
  9.          be used for tasks which have nothing to do with editing.
  10.  
  11. VDEMO file(s)     Lets you edit files of any size, but limits you to 1000
  12.          keystrokes - it will then exit after letting you save or
  13.          abandon any changes.
  14.  
  15. VDEMO -D file(s) Lets you edit with an unlimited number of keystrokes,
  16.          but cannot save files greater than 2K is size.
  17.  
  18. VDEMO -X PRINT filename        Prints "filename" with simple formatting -
  19.                 60 lines per page, with filename, date and
  20.                 page number at the top of each page.
  21.  
  22. VDEMO -X DISPLAY filename    Displays "filename" on the screen, letting
  23.                 you scroll back and forth through the file.
  24.                 A help window gives directions.
